The inspiration for this painting came from an ancient painting of the divine gifts of the Holy Spirit. In my personal adaptation, I have used the image of an owl, which has special meaning to me. The spirit of the owl has come to me in many times of need, and to me, the peace and solace it has offered are definitely gifts from the divine.
