Sacred Transmission

⁣I’ve spent some time exploring the celestial realms in my art and spiritual practice recently, and now I’m feeling the pull of exploring the sacredness of this earthly realm.

I feel a deep connection to the deer and feel calmed by their symbolism of compassionate healing. Additionally, the rune Algiz and it’s energy of protection relate and embody the antlered creatures such as deer and elk. ⁣

⁣It is said by some that the antlers of a deer can act as antennae to the higher spiritual realms. In this painting I aim to depict the connection between the celestial and earthly planes with the sacred deer serving as a conduit.
